Acceptance and use
These terms govern your access to products and services offered by ThinQBox Edge Private Limited, including ThinQBox Connect. You must provide accurate information and use the services lawfully.
Eligibility and accounts
You must have legal capacity to accept these terms. If you use a service for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting credentials, activity under your account and promptly reporting suspected unauthorised access.
If you are under 18 years of age, you may use features involving the processing of personal data only where the consent or other lawful basis required by applicable law has been established.
A user under 18 years of age must not connect a personal Gmail account to ThinQBox Connect unless ThinQBox has made an appropriate verifiable parent or lawful guardian consent process available for that user, or the relevant processing is otherwise permitted under applicable law.
ThinQBox Connect
ThinQBox Connect helps users identify recruitment and placement-related communications and convert relevant information into application updates, interview updates, placement activity and reminders.
Connecting a Google account is optional. If you choose to connect Gmail, ThinQBox Connect may request read-only access to Gmail to identify relevant recruitment and placement-related emails, including application confirmations, interview invitations, assessments, recruiter communications, offers and application status updates.
ThinQBox Connect does not use Gmail access to send, modify or delete emails. You may disconnect your Google account or revoke access at any time.
ThinQBox Connect does not retain copies of your full emails. Relevant emails are processed to extract the placement information necessary to provide the requested service. We may retain structured placement details and limited technical identifiers necessary to prevent duplicate processing and maintain the reliability of the service, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
Google API data use
Where ThinQBox Connect accesses information through Google APIs, that information is used only to provide the user-facing functionality for which the user granted access.
ThinQBox does not sell Google user data or use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, personalised advertising or unrelated marketing. Google user data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the applicable Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google Workspace data obtained through sensitive or restricted Google API scopes is not used to create, train or improve general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Service accuracy
We aim to detect recruitment emails accurately but cannot promise every email will be found or every extracted detail will be correct. You should independently verify important information, including interview schedules, deadlines, application statuses and offer details.
AI-assisted services
AI-generated classifications, recommendations and outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for a particular purpose. They are provided as assistance, not professional, legal, financial, medical, employment or investment advice. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and decisions made using them.
Google Workspace data obtained through sensitive or restricted Google API scopes is not used to create, train or improve general-purpose AI or machine-learning models.
Subscriptions and payment
Prices, billing intervals and service scope are shown at purchase or agreed in writing. Subscription fees are payable in advance.
Cancellation and no-refund policy
You may cancel a subscription to prevent future renewals. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and does not ordinarily create a refund, credit or partial reimbursement for amounts already paid, except where required by applicable law.
Prohibited conduct
You must not misuse, disrupt or compromise services, access data that is not yours, circumvent limits, interfere with security controls, use another person's connected account without authorisation, or violate law or third-party rights.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit. You grant ThinQBox a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display that content only as necessary to provide, secure and operate the requested service.
Where you connect a third-party account, including a Google account, you authorise ThinQBox to access and process only the information permitted by the permissions you grant and only for the functionality you have requested. You may withdraw that permission by disconnecting the relevant account or revoking the applicable authorisation.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required for content submitted by you and for accounts you choose to connect.
Notifications and communications
If you enable placement-related notifications through email, WhatsApp or another supported communication channel, you authorise ThinQBox to use the minimum information necessary to deliver those notifications through the selected channel.
Enabling a communication channel does not authorise ThinQBox to provide your Gmail message body, subject, sender information or full email content to that communications provider.
Third-party services
Services may interoperate with third-party platforms, APIs, hosting providers, payment processors, communications providers or AI providers. Their products, availability and data practices are governed by their own terms and policies. ThinQBox is not responsible for third-party services outside its control, and references to a provider do not imply endorsement or approval.
When you voluntarily connect a third-party service, including Google, access to that service is subject to the permissions you approve and may be revoked by you through the relevant third-party account settings.
Where you enable a communications service such as WhatsApp for placement notifications, only the minimum structured placement information necessary to deliver the requested notification may be sent through that provider.
Intellectual property
ThinQBox and its licensors retain rights in the services, software, designs, content and brands.
Availability and liability
Services may be paused or changed for maintenance, security or improvement. ThinQBox is not liable for missed recruitment opportunities or losses arising from recruitment-related emails not being detected, information being extracted incorrectly, delays in processing, third-party service interruptions or a user's failure to independently verify important application or interview details.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, services are provided on an “as available” basis without implied warranties of uninterrupted operation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. ThinQBox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, loss of profits, data or opportunity. Our aggregate liability relating to a paid service will not exceed the fees paid for that service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Privacy and data protection
Our processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Where applicable, users may exercise rights relating to access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal and grievance redressal as described in that policy.
Disconnecting a Google account stops future Gmail access. Google-derived data that is no longer required will be handled in accordance with the retention and deletion practices described in our Privacy Policy.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk, non-payment, platform-policy requirements or legal obligations. You may stop using a service at any time. Sections concerning payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, privacy obligations and disputes survive termination where their nature requires it.
Changes to services or terms
We may update services and these terms for operational, security, legal or product reasons. Material changes will be communicated through the service, by email or on this page as appropriate. Continued use after an effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts in Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.
